Combine water, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, ginger and cornstarch; whisk to mix well. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens slightly. Cool to room temperature. Yield: about 1-1/2cups sauce. |
